As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for loading and unloading items, and providing exceptional service to our customers during their moving experience. Duties Load and unload furniture and other items onto and off of trucks with care. Operate box trucks and other vehicles in a safe manner, including manual transmission vehicles. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks to assist in the movement of heavy items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used during operations. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members. Experience Previous experience in moving or related fields is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial driving practices is a plus. Experience with route driving and delivery driving is beneficial. Skills in customer service are essential for interacting with clients positively. Ability to operate a van or box truck safely is required.
