In this role, you will oversee the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and delivery of goods while managing a team of movers and drivers. Your leadership will ensure that each move is executed smoothly, with a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on moving skills with supervisory responsibilities, all while maintaining a positive and energetic work environment. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate moving teams to ensure timely and safe loading, unloading, and transportation of items. Operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and other heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Manage route driving assignments, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and accurately. Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, prioritizing safety at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries. Supervise team members to ensure proper moving techniques, safety procedures, and company policies are followed. Maintain vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues promptly, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, moving services, or courier roles with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong warehouse experience including loading/unloading cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during moves or warehouse tasks. Familiarity with route planning, load securing, and managing multiple stops in a day. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicle operation is essential; forklift certification is a plus.
