Job Summary Join our dynamic moving and packing team as a Mover/Helper/Packer, where your energy and dedication will help clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. In this role, you'll be actively involved in loading, unloading, packing, and organizing items with precision and care. Your proactive attitude will ensure that every move is efficient, safe, and stress-free for our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in moving, logistics, and customer service while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and initiative. Duties Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety. Pack belongings securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit. Help organize items within trucks or storage areas for optimal space utilization. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when certified, to move heavy or bulky items efficiently. Support drivers with route driving and delivery tasks. Ensure all items are properly labeled, documented, and loaded according to schedule. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols during all moving activities. Skills Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during moves. Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations is preferred. Experience with commercial driving, especially box trucks or driver roles, is a plus. Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, manual transmissions, and other moving tools safely. Knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures to support timely pick-ups and drop-offs. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients during busy schedules.
