Job Overview We are seeking energetic and reliable Summer Furniture Movers to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting furniture and other heavy items. This position offers an excellent opportunity for college students or high school students looking for a seasonal summer work opportunity. Responsibilities Safely move furniture in and out of classrooms Operate desk jacks, two wheel hand trucks and other equipment following OSHA safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, equipment operation, and company procedures Skills Strong work ethic and reliable Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and materials handling best practices Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load & unload tasks Join us this summer to develop work experience moving furniture in and out of classrooms to help prep rooms for our floor restoration team! Work days are Monday-Friday and hours can range from 20-40 hours per week. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience for students who are home for the summer from college or high school students who are looking to develop work experience.
