Human Resources Position Overview The Packer is responsible for safely and efficiently preparing belongings for residential moves, with a special focus on supporting senior clients . This role requires patience, respect, and strong attention to detail to ensure older adults feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout the packing process. Key Responsibilities Pack household items using proper materials and techniques Wrap and protect fragile items, artwork, electronics, and furniture to company standards Clearly label boxes for easy identification and organized unpacking Provide patient, compassionate assistance to senior clients who may need extra support Communicate clearly about what is being packed and where items will go Assist with loading and unloading when needed Maintain a clean, organized work area Follow company safety procedures and handling standards Work efficiently to meet move timelines while maintaining a calm, supportive presence Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in packing or moving preferred Valid clean driver's licenses with ability to get a chauffer's license and clean background Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods Strong attention to detail and care for customer belongings Excellent communication and teamwork skills Comfort working with senior clients , including those who may have mobility or memory challenges Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused Work Environment Hands‑on work indoors and outdoors May require long days during busy seasons but no weekends Frequent interaction with seniors and their families during emotional or transitional moments Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
