Local Driver / Mover - $25-$30/hr

Metcalf Moving and Storage is a full-service moving company that has been serving Minnesota since 1919. We have been an agent for Mayflower Transit since 1967, and are still family owned and operated. We are looking for energetic and dependable people to join our company as non-CDL local drivers. This is year-round work for someone who likes to stay physically active and work as a team. Pay will depend on experience and qualifications. Experienced drivers may qualify for more.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

This position involves driving, loading, and unloading trucks locally, to transport our customers' household or commercial goods. No CDL is needed; just a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Duties include protecting and moving household furniture, loading and unloading trucks, packing, crating, and other specialized services as needed. Hourly pay, plus tips and time-and-a-half overtime. Benefits include health/dental insurance, 401k retirement plan, and paid time off. Work is typically weekdays, but weekend availability is required, at overtime rates. Good teamwork is necessary, as well as well as the ability to follow instructions and the willingness to learn. Customer service is our highest priority. Prior moving experience is preferred, but not required. Training and uniforms are provided.
