This energetic position combines hands-on moving and delivery work with excellent customer service, offering an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in logistics, transportation, and professional moving services. As a key member of our team, you'll assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and setting up furniture while providing exceptional customer support to ensure a positive moving and delivery experience. Duties Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other items safely. Pack, wrap, and protect customer belongings to prevent damage during transport. Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items, often weighing 50-100 pounds. Assist with moving items into and out of homes, offices, and storage facilities. Secure cargo in trucks using straps, blankets, and other protective equipment. Follow assigned delivery and moving schedules. Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and lifting straps. Maintain a clean and organized work area, truck, and equipment. Provide professional and courteous customer service. Inspect items for damage before and after transport. Follow company safety procedures and guidelines. Work effectively as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently. Qualifications Ability to safely lift and carry heavy items (often 50-100 lbs) Experience loading and unloading trucks (helpful but not always required) Customer service skills when interacting with clients Basic knowledge of packing, wrapping, and protecting furniture and fragile items Ability to use dollies, hand trucks, lifting straps, and moving equipment Dependability and punctuality Ability to work in teams and follow directions Join our team and become part of a hardworking, energetic group dedicated to providing exceptional moving and delivery services.
