As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for handling various moving tasks, including loading and unloading items, driving vehicles, and providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties Load and unload furniture and other items from trucks or storage units with care. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to facilitate moving operations. Drive commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Follow specified routes while adhering to safety regulations during transportation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their moving needs. Assist in packing and unpacking items as necessary. Perform heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper lifting techniques to ensure safety. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse or moving site. Requirements Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred but not required. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required). Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is a plus. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual labor for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
