THE ROLE
We are looking for experienced mover/helpers to support our company's operations. In this role, you will be on a team lead by a driver/foreman and conduct moves and installations at a range of locations, mostly in
NYC. SELECT RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MOVER/HELPER
Be punctual, showing up on time to the lot or a job site as directed Take direction from your foreman to complete the day's tasks Load and unload trucks in strategic fashion Wrap furniture and belongings adequately and with care Be personally responsible for all tools, equipment and gear used to do your job Clean up rubbish from inside of trucks and vans and dispose at the end of each workday Inform your supervisor in the event of unsafe conditions, accident or injury immediately, and use safe working methods at all times. Maintain proper hygiene and wear company-branded attire every day, on every job
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
Ability to get to Jersey City at 7am Proficient with furniture dis/assembly and installation, using appropriate tools Team player who is dependable Ability to lift or move heavy objects up to 75 lbs, climb stairs and stay active for extended periods At least one year of experience in a comparable role
DETAILS AND COMPENSATION
$17.50-$20.00 per hour, based on experience, plus overtime $1200 signing bonus paid quarterly for employment that adheres to role responsibilities and company protocols You will be paid weekly on Fridays 401K offered immediately upon employment For full time employees, medical, dental and vision benefits are offered Come join us!
