With safety and efficiency as our priorities, we aim to make the moving process seamless for our clients. Role Description We are seeking a full-time Driver & Mover to join our team in Teaneck, NJ. This on-site role involves operating moving trucks, safely transporting goods, loading and unloading items, and providing excellent customer service to clients. Responsibilities include adhering to all safety regulations, maintaining vehicles in good condition, and working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient moving operations. Starting Pay $20/hr Full-Time Position In-Person Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using appropriate lifting techniques and tools such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver items across designated routes Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, ensuring safe transportation at all times Drive confidently along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations while maintaining punctuality Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction during delivery or move-in/move-out processes Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of items, demonstrating physical strength and proper technique Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift Qualifications Valid driver's license with a good driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Familiarity with moving equipment such as dollies, and pallet jacks Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Comfortable working in physically demanding environments requiring manual labor and teamwork Knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols related to commercial driving This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to combine their driving expertise with hands-on moving tasks.
