Lead Mover/Driver

Lead Mover / Driver - Job Details The Lead Mover/Driver is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the moving process while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service for customers. This role combines leadership, driving, and hands-on moving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate 16ft-26ft box trucks to transport customer belongings Lead and supervise a moving crew on-site and during transport Plan and coordinate loading/unloading to maximize space and efficiency Ensure all items are properly wrapped, protected, and secured (shrink wrap, blankets, etc.) Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times Handle furniture disassembly and reassembly, including basic installations (e.g., TV mounting if required) Complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections and maintain cleanliness of equipment Communicate clearly with customers and office staff regarding job progress and any issues

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience driving box trucks (16ft-26ft preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to lift heavy items (50-100+ lbs) and perform physical labor throughout the day Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused Load, transport, and unload household or office items with care Pack and unpack boxes using safe and efficient methods Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed know how to mount tv on/off the wall Previous moving experience preferred
