  • Contract Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Packer & Mover to join our team!
In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and unloading items to ensure smooth transitions for our clients. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional service, making every move a positive experience. Whether handling household or commercial items, your proactive approach will keep operations running seamlessly from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where your physical strength and customer service skills shine. Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using appropriate lifting techniques and tools such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring careful handling of fragile or valuable goods Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of furniture or equipment as needed Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission for local route deliveries and pickups Maintain a clean, organized workspace during packing and loading processes Follow safety protocols including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules Experience Prior moving (and packing) industry background is a must Valid driver's license (but not mandatory) Experience driving box trucks is a plus Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, disassemble and assemble household further such as Beds, Sofa, tables, etc Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Comfortable working in physically demanding environments with manual transmission vehicles Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering excellent service through energy, precision, and teamwork!
