Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Mover to join our dynamic team! As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely transporting furniture, equipment, and other items to ensure smooth moving processes for our clients. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create positive moving experiences, making each transition seamless and stress-free. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction are top priorities. Duties Safely lift, carry, and load furniture, boxes, and equipment according to established safety protocols Use moving tools and equipment such as dollies, straps, and protective padding to facilitate efficient handling Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture when necessary to ensure safe transport Coordinate with team members to plan the most effective routes and loading strategies Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after each move Follow all safety guidelines related to lifting techniques, vehicle operation, and transportation regulations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service throughout the move Qualifications Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the day Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) is a plus but not required; attention to compliance is essential in transportation-related tasks Experience in moving, logistics, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of moves without compromising safety or quality Strong analysis skills for assessing moving plans, optimizing routes, and troubleshooting on the spot Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license may be required depending on the scope of responsibilities Schedule Work is offered on a project-by-project basis. Workers are notified when local opportunities become available and may accept or decline assignments based on availability. Once an assignment is accepted, workers are expected to arrive at the customer's location at the scheduled date and time. Compensation $20.00 per hour Tips available
