Furniture Mover & Workshop Assistant

Sweet Modern is a growing vintage furniture store and restoration shop located in Akron. We are looking for a new team member to help us deliver furniture, organize the warehouse, and support the workshop team. Job duties include but are not limited to: Moving and organizing furniture in the warehouse and workshop Wrapping and loading finished furniture for delivery Delivering furniture to local customers Carrying furniture up and down steps Organizing the workshop and keeping it tidy Supporting the work of skilled tradespeople (and learning along the way, if desired) Performing some simple restoration tasks Lending a hand where needed We seek individuals that: Can lift and move at least 50 lbs. on a frequent basis Are attentive and careful not to damage the furniture Have a valid driver's license with clean record Have experience with basic tools Are punctual and reliable Are eager to help the rest of the team
