The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods and furniture for residential, commercial, and storage clients. This role requires excellent customer service skills, physical strength, and experience with various moving equipment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting clients during their transitions while ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the process. Duties Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items safely using proper lifting techniques. Operate moving equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies to facilitate efficient handling of goods. Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport to prevent damage. Safely load items into trucks, including box trucks or other commercial vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution. Drive company vehicles including box trucks or driver vehicles along designated routes to deliver or pick up items. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during pickups and deliveries. Follow safety protocols during all phases of moving activities to prevent injuries or damages. Assist with route planning and route driving to ensure timely deliveries or pickups. Experience Prior experience in warehouse work, delivery driving, or moving services is preferred. Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and the use of moving equipment is beneficial. Customer service experience will enhance interactions with clients during moves or deliveries. Previous courier or load & unload experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided if needed. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, dependable, and eager to assist clients during their moving process while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
