The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods and furniture for residential and commercial clients. This role requires strong customer service skills, physical strength, and experience with various moving equipment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential moving services with professionalism and efficiency. Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto trucks using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, forklifts, or pallet jacks Assist customers with moving items in a courteous and professional manner Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, ensuring safe driving practices Plan routes for deliveries or pickups, adhering to schedules and safety regulations Use route driving skills to efficiently navigate to multiple locations throughout the day Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving trucks and equipment Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture as needed Load and unload items at designated locations, ensuring items are secured during transit Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while adhering to safety standards Skills Customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction Warehouse experience is a plus for handling inventory and equipment management Commercial driving skills, including experience with box trucks and route driving Delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with courier services is advantageous Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment safely Strong physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks Experience with moving or relocation services highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification is a plus Good organizational skills for route planning and load management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
