Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer and become a vital part of delivering exceptional moving and packing services! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely handling, packing, loading, and unloading items for our valued customers. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth, efficient moving experience while maintaining a positive attitude throughout each day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are at the forefront. Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, including wrapping fragile items and organizing belongings efficiently Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture and equipment as needed for transport Maintain a clean and organized workspace during packing and loading processes Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport items between locations, following established routes and safety protocols Ensure all items are properly secured in the vehicle to prevent shifting or damage during transit Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the moving process and addressing any special requests or concerns Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations is preferred Valid driver's license with experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles; commercial driving or courier experience is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the day Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other loading tools is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift, and move objects for extended periods Knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures to ensure timely deliveries Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during stressful situations Ability to follow safety protocols diligently when handling equipment like forklifts or manual tools This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your energy makes a real difference!
