Delivery / Furniture Assembly

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery and Furniture Assembly Specialist! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering furniture and other large items to customers' homes and businesses, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. You will also assist with assembling furniture on-site, providing excellent customer service, and managing the safe handling of products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving, manual labor, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service every day! Duties Safely load, unload, and transport furniture and other large items using box trucks. Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Perform furniture assembly on-site or at customer locations, following provided instructions carefully. Assist customers with product placement, setup, and answering questions to ensure satisfaction. Use equipment such as 2 and 4 wheel dollys or pallet jacks when necessary to move heavy or bulky items safely. Conduct pre

• and post-delivery inspections to ensure all items are delivered in excellent condition.

Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams for smooth operations. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver preferably with furniture or heavy item handling. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor safely; familiarity with moving large or awkward items is essential. Warehouse experience including the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities. Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols related to heavy lifting and moving.
