Position Overview SERVPRO - Team Shaw is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Moving, Packing & Cleaning Technician to support our contents division. This role is responsible for packing, moving, cleaning, and restoring customer belongings following fire, water, or other property damage. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and committed to providing a high level of care and professionalism when handling customer property. All genders welcome to apply! Key Responsibilities Pack, wrap, and inventory customer belongings accurately Safely move contents between job sites and storage facilities Clean and restore items affected by water, fire, or smoke damage Label and track items to ensure proper documentation and organization Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, vehicles, and job sites Follow company processes and safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers and team members Assist with loading and unloading trucks #SPTSField19 Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license preferred Ability to pass background check Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in moving, packing, cleaning, or warehouse roles Experience in restoration or contents handling Familiarity with inventory systems or tracking processes Attributes for Success Strong work ethic and positive attitude Detail-oriented and careful with customer belongings Ability to follow processes and take direction Team player with strong communication skills Adaptable and able to handle changing job demands Customer-focused mindset with professionalism on-site
