Position Overview As a Mover / Senior Support Team Member, you will assist clients—primarily seniors and their families—with moving, packing, organizing, junk removal, handyman support, and general transition assistance. This role requires professionalism, patience, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Employees work directly in clients' homes and represent the company at all times through respectful communication and quality service. Employment Details Part-time during initial 90-day probationary period Opportunities for full-time employment based on: Company needs, Attendance and reliability, Job performance, Teamwork and professionalism Responsibilities Moving & Packing Pack, organize, load, unload, and unpack household items safely Assist with furniture moving and home transitions Protect client belongings during transportation and handling Follow safe lifting and moving procedures Junk Removal Remove unwanted furniture, household items, and debris Load items into company vehicles or designated disposal areas Maintain clean work areas and vehicles Handyman Assistance Assist with minor home repairs and maintenance Safely use hand and power tools Assemble furniture and complete light installation tasks Senior Support & Customer Service Provide compassionate and respectful customer service Create a calm and positive experience for seniors and families Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in clients' homes General Responsibilities Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts Maintain a clean, professional appearance Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers Follow company safety policies and procedures Assist with additional duties as assigned Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding position. Team members may be required to: Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds with assistance when necessary Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Safely operate moving equipment and tools Schedule Requirements Hours are based on when moves, services are scheduled and requested by client. We CANNOT guarantee a set schedule and MUST have employees that can work a flexible schedule and be communicative about their availability. Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:

Strong work ethic and reliability Positive attitude and willingness to help others Ability to work well in a team environment Good communication and customer service skills Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Previous moving, labor, handyman, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred but not required Must be able to successfully pass a background check in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record Must be eligible to operate company or rented vehicles in compliance with applicable DOT and company safety standards Candidates offered driving responsibilities may be subject to motor vehicle record (MVR) review and DOT-related requirements where applicable Work Environment Employees may work in: Residential homes Apartment complexes Storage facilities Senior living communities Outdoor environments Why Join O'Hare Services?
