Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic moving and packing team as a Mover/Packer, where your energy and dedication will help clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing belongings, safely loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring every item is handled with care. Your proactive attitude and strong work ethic will contribute to a positive customer experience, making each move seamless and stress-free. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in moving, heavy lifting, and transportation logistics. Duties Carefully pack household or commercial items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload boxes, furniture, and equipment onto trucks using manual techniques or equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for local or route driving deliveries Assist with route driving as a courier or delivery driver, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs Use heavy lifting techniques to move large or bulky items efficiently while maintaining safety standards Maintain organization of items in storage areas or trucks for optimal space utilization Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth coordination during loading, transit, and unloading processes Qualifications Prior warehouse experience or background in moving services is preferred but not required; training will be provided Experience with customer service to assist clients professionally during moves or deliveries Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift Familiarity with equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual transmission vehicles is advantageous Strong physical stamina and endurance for manual labor tasks involving load & unload activities Excellent communication skills for route driving, customer interactions, and team coordination Embark on a rewarding career where your physical strength, attention to detail, and positive attitude make a real difference.
