Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover to join our veteran owned dynamic team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind helping clients transition smoothly to their new spaces. Your responsibilities will include loading, unloading, and transporting furniture and household items safely and efficiently. Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies or pallet jacks Operate various vehicles including box trucks or driver vehicles with manual transmission for route driving and delivery purposes Assist customers with their belongings, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout the moving process Load items onto trucks securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing tools like forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary Drive safely along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies while ensuring timely deliveries or pickups Unload items at the destination, carefully placing them in designated areas as instructed by clients Maintain cleanliness and safety of moving equipment and vehicles, performing routine inspections before and after shifts Skills Proven experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving with a focus on heavy lifting and manual labor Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or driver vehicles with manual transmission Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies Ability to load & unload efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Knowledge of route driving best practices for timely deliveries and pickups Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks throughout shifts Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values hard work, professionalism, and delivering exceptional moving experiences!
