In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently packing belongings, safely loading and unloading items, and ensuring every move is handled with care and professionalism. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a positive moving experience for our customers. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop versatile skills in moving, packing, and logistics while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Carefully pack household or commercial items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Load and unload trucks with heavy or bulky items, utilizing manual lifting techniques and equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Safely operate box trucks or other commercial vehicles for local or route driving deliveries Assist with the organization of moving supplies and ensure all packing materials are used efficiently Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, loading, unloading, and transportation activities Collaborate with team members to coordinate route driving schedules and ensure timely deliveries or pickups Maintain a clean, organized workspace and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse work, moving, or delivery driving is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly while maintaining proper form Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and courier services is advantageous Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, manual transmission vehicles, or other moving equipment is beneficial Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety standards Join us as a vital part of our moving team where your hard work makes a real difference!
