Mover/Driver

In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and transporting goods and furniture while providing outstanding customer service. Your expertise in driving commercial vehicles, handling heavy loads, and managing efficient routes will ensure our clients' belongings arrive securely and on time. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport goods and furniture to various locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and manual lifting techniques to ensure safe handling of heavy or bulky items. Assist customers with moving their belongings, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and professionalism throughout the process. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while adhering to safety regulations. Verify delivery details, complete necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate logs of shipments, pickups, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedule updates or route changes. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, equipment, and work area at all times. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a focus on route driving. Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during pickups and drop-offs. Warehouse experience is a plus for handling loading/unloading tasks efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and repeatedly throughout the day. Familiarity with operating box trucks, forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, and other moving equipment. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and commercial driving regulations. Excellent organizational skills to manage load & unload procedures accurately while maintaining safety standards.
