Pay Rate:
$16.50-$17.50 hourly (Rate depends on shift) The Cabin Cleaning Agent is responsible for comprehensively cleaning aircraft interiors and galley stocking per aircraft specifications.
Primary Accountabilities and Duties:
Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories. Helps prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories. Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc. Provide technical guidance, interpret policies and procedures, and assist front-line employees in performing functional tasks. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older Must submit to and pass a drug screen and background check Must meet all requirements to obtain an airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successfully completing a background check and ten-year work history. Must have a reliable mode of communication and transportation
Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks
- Ability to effectively present information, including in written form, and respond to questions from passengers, managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills
