Job Description

Position Overview Ridgeline Flight School LLC is seeking motivated and professional Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about aviation who want to contribute to a structured, safety-focused Part 141 training environment while continuing to grow their experience and qualifications. Start Date The anticipated start date is June 15, 2026. This is a delayed and conditional start dependent upon the successful execution of the Gallatin College contract and overall operational readiness. Responsibilities Instructors are expected to provide high-quality flight and ground instruction in accordance with Part 141 standards, maintain accurate training records, and support student progression in a professional and structured environment. This role requires strong communication, adaptability, and a consistent commitment to safety. Scheduling is flexible and based on student demand, including evenings and weekends, and there is no guarantee of minimum hours. Aircraft & Training Requirements As part of this role, instructors will be required to become proficient in and provide instruction in the Sling NGT aircraft. Prior experience in this aircraft is not expected; however, candidates must demonstrate the ability and willingness to complete required training and safely instruct in accordance with Ridgeline Flight School standards. Qualifications Candidates must hold a current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate and demonstrate professionalism and strong instructional ability. A CFII is preferred, or candidates must be willing to obtain it in a timely manner to support program needs. FAA CFI required CFII preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and instructional skills Professionalism and commitment to safety Benefits (Full-Time Eligible) Full-time instructors may become eligible for a benefits package depending on company policy and program availability.

Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
