Our instructors work with everyone from new pilots pursuing certificates and ratings to experienced aircraft owners seeking advanced training and proficiency in modern aircraft. Position Summary Lone Mountain Flight Training is seeking a full-time Contract Flight Instructor (CFII) based in the Cincinnati area. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a career beyond traditional primary flight instruction. In addition to teaching Private, Instrument, and Commercial students, instructors will support Cirrus transition training, recurrent training, and pilot service operations for aircraft owners. The ideal candidate is a professional aviator who enjoys teaching, building relationships with clients, and helping pilots become safer and more capable operators. Responsibilities Provide flight and ground instruction for Private, Instrument, and Commercial applicants Conduct instrument proficiency and recurrent training Support Cirrus transition and recurrent training programs Deliver professional preflight briefings and post-flight debriefings Maintain accurate training records and student progress reports Assist with pilot service assignments in support of our clients and aircraft sales company Represent Lone Mountain Flight Training in a professional manner at all times Support the company's commitment to safety, customer service, and operational excellence Minimum Qualifications FAA Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) 500 hours total flight time 100 hours dual instruction given Current FAA medical certificate as required Ability to pass company standardization training Must reside within one hour of Cincinnati Municipal Airport
