If you're passionate about leadership, excellence, and developing future pilots Apply now and take your career to new heights! ✈️ Tasks The Chief Pilot Operations is responsible for: Drives team performance by clearly communicating expectations & effectively planning, monitoring, & evaluating performance, including annual instructor training requirements Regularly reviews training & check ride data, identifying trends and addressing areas of concern with the Standards Team and Flight Instructors (FIs) Establishes priorities for resource allocation to ensure the timely completion of instructor training programs Supports the Standards Team & Mentor Pilots in achieving full compliance with student pilot documentation & training record requirements Conducts Progress Checks & UPRT evaluations on behalf of LAT Delivers Instructor Training • All other duties as assigned or required Requirements To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications: High school diploma/GED required Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an instructor pilot and worked previously in a leadership role, or aviation experience commiserate with job duties including all applicable requirements of FAR's Fluency in English required Must be able to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing Must be able to efficiently apply collaborative techniques Must possess
CPL ME/SE
IR, CFI, CFII, or have comparable experience Excellent skills in excel and outlook Excellent detail oriented Excellent commitment Excellent responsibility Excellent teamwork Required to travel Must possess a valid driver's license Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S. Manage high stress levels • CV/Resume required • Company will not provide relocation assistance
