Part 91 About Prospect Aviation, LTD Prospect Aviation, LTD operates a worldclass, lowprofile, safetyfocused Part 91 corporate flight department supporting international and domestic travel for company leadership. Our team prides itself on professionalism, discretion, and operational excellence. The department operates a Gulfstream GVIIG500, flying approximately 350-400 hours annually, with primary destinations throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Europe. Position Overview Prospect Aviation, LTD is seeking a highly experienced, teamoriented Senior Captain to join our
GVIIG500
flight department. The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the aircraft while serving as a leader within the cockpit and the flight department. This individual must demonstrate exceptional judgment, strong CRM and TEM skills, leadership ability, and a steadfast commitment to passenger safety and service. The ideal candidate embraces the flexible, fastpaced nature of a small, highperforming Part 91 flight department and works seamlessly with fellow pilots, maintenance personnel, and leadership.
A GVIIG500
type rating is preferred but not required. SMS Safety Manager experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Flight Operations Serve as Pilot in Command or CoCaptain on assigned flights in accordance with company policy; FAA, ICAO, and local regulations; and the Prospect Aviation Operations & Procedures Manual. Conduct domestic and worldwide operations, including international, oceanic, and specialqualification airport operations. Coordinate with trip support and flight planning providers to ensure trip readiness, including weather evaluation, flight planning, performance, routing, permits, and security considerations. Oversee cabin preparation, catering coordination, passenger service expectations, and aircraft presentation. Maintain a professional, discreet, and serviceoriented presence at all times. Leadership & Crew Coordination Lead and mentor First Officers and other crew members, promoting strong CRM and professional development. Coordinate closely with the Chief Pilot, Chief of Maintenance, and department leadership. Support training compliance, SOP adherence, and standardization initiatives. Safety & Compliance Actively comply with and promote the department's Safety Management System (SMS). Ensure full compliance with company procedures and all applicable domestic and international regulations. Participate in recurrent training, SMS activities, audits, and safety reviews as assigned. Administrative Duties Accurately and timely complete flight logs, expense reports, trip paperwork, and required documentation. Assist with maintenance of department manuals and operational materials as needed. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate - Airplane Multiengine Land Heavy corporate jet type rating
Minimum Flight Experience:
5,000 hours total time 2,000 hours turbine PIC (fixedwing) 1,000 hours multiengine 500 hours turbine time Extensive international operations experience, including oceanic procedures (North Atlantic preferred) Current and qualified under Part 91 Demonstrated experience with RVSM, CPDLC, and
NAT HLA FAA
FirstClass Medical Certificate Valid Passport with unrestricted worldwide travel authorization FCC Radio Operator Permit Ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol screening Preferred Qualifications
