Job Description

HGA is currently hiring a Corporate Pilot to join our team in Ruston, Louisiana. The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of HGA's aircraft in the transportation of company personnel and cargo, conducting pre-flight planning, risk assessment, and flight operations in full compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. The company's flight department operates strictly under FAR Part 91 and exists to support the company's business travel needs. This is a non-supervisory pilot position reporting to the Chief Pilot. The Corporate Pilot's primary aircraft is the TBM 940, within a flight department that also operates a Cessna CJ4. This is a development-track role with the opportunity to add qualifications over time as experience and flight department needs warrant. Responsibilities Flight Operations & Safety Ensure all flight operations adhere to FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Serve as a pilot primarily operating the TBM 940, within a flight department that also operates a Cessna CJ4. Conduct pre-flight planning, risk assessments, and weather monitoring. Maintain the highest safety standards, implementing policies that enhance risk management and operational integrity. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation Support compliance with FAA and other aviation regulatory requirements, in coordination with the Chief Pilot. Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), including Part 91 operations. Maintain all required pilot certifications, training records, and operational documentation. Requirements Must hold a commercial pilot license with an instrument rating and a second-class medical certificate or higher. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety standards, and flight operations best practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with executives and external vendors. Ability to travel frequently, including overnight trips, weekends, and holidays as required. Must reside within commuting distance to Ruston, LA, or be willing to relocate. No prior aircraft accidents, FAA violations, or license suspensions without satisfactory explanation. Preferred Qualifications 1,500+ hours total flight time. 250+ hours pilot-in-command (PIC) turbine. 100+ hours multi-engine. High-performance, complex, and retractable-gear experience. Single-engine turboprop experience preferred; TBM-series a plus, with willingness to complete approved TBM initial training and a mentoring period. Strong background in single-pilot operations.
