Job Description

Job Summary Were looking to develop a long term relationship with an experienced and licensed part 107 drone pilot. You must have your own equipment ex: DJI Mavic 3 Thermal and DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3T and M3E), or equivalent, reliable transportation, willingness to travel to and fly in Boston, Greater Boston and other controlled airspace. Flight autonomy software experience is a must. Dronelink is a plus. You will be conducting building and roof inspections both in the visual and thermal spectrum. You will be responsible for applying for your own airspace authorizations and LAANC with additional coordination requests. Familiarity with mapping, modeling and thermal inspections is a must. Responsibilities Conduct pre-flight inspections of drones to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance Plan flight missions meticulously, considering airspace restrictions, weather conditions, and project requirements Operate UAVs safely and efficiently while adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and aviation best practices Capture high-resolution photography and video footage for diverse applications such as mapping, surveying, or filming Utilize GIS tools to analyze spatial data collected during flights for accurate mapping and analysis Maintain detailed flight logs, incident reports, and asset records in accordance with regulatory standards Collaborate with project teams to interpret aerial data, provide insights, and support project objectives Upload images in a timely manner following project completion Experience Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or equivalent licensing as a drone pilot Proven experience operating UAVs in commercial or military settings with a strong understanding of aviation safety protocols Familiarity with photography techniques and filming equipment used in aerial videography Mechanical knowledge related to drone maintenance and troubleshooting Experience working with GIS, Photogrammetry, Mapping and Flight Autonomy Proficiency in English for clear communication and reporting purposes If you're passionate about drone technology and would like to be a part of the world of actionable building inspections, we would love to talk to you!
