Position Overview Constellation Brands is seeking a highly experienced Gulfstream Captain to join its Part 91 corporate flight department based in Rochester, NY. This role serves as Pilot in Command on company aircraft and plays a critical leadership role in maintaining the department's strong safety culture, operational excellence, and premium service standards. About the Flight Department The Constellation Brands flight department is an IS-BAO Stage 3 certified operation supporting domestic and international missions. The department operates a fleet of Gulfstream G280 and Gulfstream G600 aircraft and maintains an active Safety Management System (SMS) with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Pilot in Command on assigned domestic and international Part 91 operations
  • Maintain responsibility for passenger, crew, and aircraft safety
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, international requirements, and company SOPs
  • Lead, mentor, and support flight crew members
  • Actively participate in SMS reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight planning and operational decision-making
  • Represent Constellation Brands with professionalism, discretion, and executive-level service Required Qualifications
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate - Multiengine
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • 3,000+ hours Total Time
  • 2,000+ hours Jet Time
  • Must hold at least one jet type rating
  • Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time to support domestic and international operations
  • Valid U.S. passport and valid driver's license
  • Ability to reside within one hour of Rochester International Airport (KROC)
  • Ability to successfully complete background investigation and pre-employment drug screening Preferred Qualifications
  • Gulfstream G280 and/or G600 type rating(s) preferred
  • International flight experience
  • Experience in IS-BAO and/or Safety Management System (SMS) environments
  • Previous flight instruction experience and/or possession of a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate
  • Must have attended approved simulator training in the jet aircraft the pilot is type rated in within the previous 12 months Core Competencies & Professional Attributes
  • Demonstrated leadership, professionalism, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) consistent with Captain responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills in a multi-crew environment
  • Sound judgment, decision-making, and threat-and-error management
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a changing operational environment
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement consistent with IS-BAO Stage 3 standards Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift to 55 pounds The salary range for this role is: $196,500 - $359,800 This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
