Security Surveillance Specialist About Us:

Summary:
We are seeking experienced FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilots to support physical security operations at critical infrastructure facilities. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct proactive scheduled and reactive on-demand drone flight missions to monitor facility perimeters, identify potential security threats or vulnerabilities, and provide real-time aerial intelligence to the Security Operations Center (SOC). During periods when flight operations are not being conducted, the secondary responsibility is to support routine Security Operations Center (SOC) activities , including monitoring security systems, responding to alerts, documenting incidents, and assisting with day-to-day security operations. The client provides and maintains all drone equipment—you bring the FAA Part 107 certification, sound judgment, and professionalism required to safely execute commercial drone operations while contributing to the overall security mission.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Fly surveillance missions Conduct drone inspections of facility perimeters and fence lines to spot security threats or vulnerabilities Operate only within pre-approved flight zones you are responsible for confirming those boundaries before every flight Follow all FAA regulations (or the applicable authority for your location) and client protocols on every mission Conduct both proactive scheduled patrols and reactive response flights to support ongoing security operations and incident response. Continuously monitor weather and environmental conditions to ensure all flight operations are conducted safely and in accordance with FAA regulations and company protocols. Prepare before and after every flight Inspect the drone before each mission to confirm it is fully airworthy no exceptions Plan your flight path and objectives before takeoff; get SOC clearance before you fly Inspect the drone again after landing and report any damage or issues immediately Report what you see If you spot a threat or vulnerability, escalate it promptly through the established reporting channels Log all mission details accurately flight path, duration, observations, and outcomes Coordinate with the SOC before and after every mission Support Security Operations Center (SOC) Functions Support Security Operations Center (SOC) Functions to cover day-to-day analyst support and the close-out of security investigations that utilize drone aerial coverage.
Qualifications:
Must Have • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate current and valid, or actively in-process with a confirmed test date prior to start 1+ year of professional drone flight experience commercial, government, or military Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements Strong Preference Military UAS background Army MOS 15W/150U, Air Force RPA (1U0X1 or 18X), Marine MOS 7314, or equivalent defense contractor ISR experience Physical security, law enforcement, or critical infrastructure experience Experience coordinating with SOCs or similar command/control environments Comfortable flying day or night, outdoors, in variable weather conditions Nice to Have
AUVSI SUAS
certification LAANC authorization experience or COA/waiver applications Night operations experience with proper anti-collision lighting
