Key Responsibilities:
Principal Technologist - Microsoft Copilot Microsoft Copilot Platform Expert-level familiarity with M365 Copilot across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Loop, leveraging Microsoft Graph for organizational data grounding
Stay abreast of new and emerging capabilities in the M365 ecosystem as it applies to Copilot and AI integration
Proficiency with Copilot Studio for building custom agents, with working knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Power BI
Ability to construct effective natural language prompts in M365 contexts and design multi-topic conversational agents with integrated knowledge bases
Understanding of data security boundaries, sensitivity labels, DLP policies, authentication flows (OAuth, SSO, Entra ID), and responsible AI governance
Ability to extend M365 Copilot through declarative agents, Microsoft Graph connectors, and API plugins, and advise on when to use Copilot Studio versus Azure AI Foundry versus off-the-shelf M365 Copilot capabilities Productivity & Workflow Skills Demonstrated ability to use Copilot to accelerate document drafting, summarization, and email triage
Proficiency with Copilot in Teams for meeting summarization, action item extraction, and follow-up drafting
Ability to construct effective natural language prompts within M365 Copilot context
Understanding of Copilot Pages and collaborative AI-assisted content creation Enablement & Evangelism Able to run adoption workshops and role-specific training for business users
Comfortable creating before/after workflow demonstrations to drive adoption
Ability to collect user feedback and surface it to leadership and IT
Familiarity with Microsoft Viva, adoption metrics, and Copilot usage reporting in M365 admin center
Ability to translate business problems into agent or automation use cases
Capable of leading CoE (Center of Excellence) discussions for Power Platform governance
Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and IT/developers
Work across business units to enable relevant solution development, delivery enablement and high quality executive consumable documentation
Design, blueprint, work with Central IT to support lab environments for team members
Engage in strategic go to market activities, including public speaking, blog posts, podcasts and social media posts highlighting the company's capabilities Technical Skills Ability to design and build multi-topic conversational agents with escalation paths
Experience with knowledge base integration (SharePoint, public URLs, uploaded documents)
Ability to implement generative answers with custom grounding and citation controls
Familiarity with Copilot Studio analytics and conversation transcript analysis
Understanding of governance controls: DLP policies, environment strategy, solution management Integration & Advanced Use Work closely with CIT, GIS and CISO offices to understand and implement guardrails for acceptable use and enablement
Experience extending Microsoft 365 Copilot with declarative agents or plugins
Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot extensibility model (Graph connectors, message extensions, API plugins)
Ability to advise on when to use Copilot Studio vs. Azure AI Foundry vs. off-the-shelf Copilot features
Experience deploying agents across channels: Teams, SharePoint, web, external websites You will be successful in this role if you have: BA/BS degree and 8-12 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred Preferred Background 2-4 years in a knowledge worker role (HR, finance, marketing, operations, PMO)
Strong familiarity with M365 suite; Microsoft 365 Copilot certification a plus
Change management or training experience preferred
4-6 years in Power Platform, enterprise app development, or business process automation
Microsoft certifications: PL-200, PL-100, or AI-900/AI-102
