Responsibilities:

Manage UAS operations for large-scale projects and specialized inspections for the west side of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Develop and implement advanced UAS operation strategies. Supervise and support mid-level and junior UAS pilots. Conduct risk assessments and ensure high safety standards. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate UAS data into workflows.

Experience:

Expert knowledge of UAS systems and their applications in utility operations. Strong leadership and management skills. Advanced data analysis and interpretation abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance. Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field. Advanced UAS certification and specialized training in UAS operations management. Continuous professional development in UAS technology and regulatory updates.

Flight Hours of Experience:

Minimum of 200 flight hours with UAS, including leadership roles in UAS operations. Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation) The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $34.00/hour•$42.00/hour W-2.
