Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a driver operating a Ford Transit Medium Roof! This energetic role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive on delivering exceptional service and maintaining safety standards. As a key player in our transportation network, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, equipment, and personnel across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Your mechanical knowledge and driving expertise will be essential in managing a range of commercial vehicle tasks, from routine shuttle driving to complex load & unload operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a Ford Transit Medium Roof vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and mechanical components to maintain optimal performance Deliver goods and equipment to designated locations promptly, maintaining excellent customer service standards Assist with moving items within warehouses or job sites using appropriate tools such as pallet jacks or manual handling techniques Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered on the road Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, maintenance checks, and mileage records for compliance purposes Experience Proven commercial driving experience with a focus on shuttle driving, delivery routes, or freight transportation Familiarity with operating various types of commercial vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers is preferred Mechanical aptitude to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues confidently Experience in warehouse operations or moving goods within industrial settings enhances your suitability for this role Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients during deliveries or pickups Knowledge of manual transmission operation and heavy equipment operation is advantageous Prior experience with route driving in diverse environments such as urban areas or rural routes is highly desirable This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced transportation team where your skills directly impact our success.
