Job Description

Companion Needed for Active Senior Woman - Part-Time We are seeking a kind, dependable, and patient companion for a pleasant 89-year-old woman who would enjoy getting out of the house and participating in activities a few times each week.
Position Details:
Approximately 5 hours per week (2 visits per week, about 2.5 hours each) $20 per hour Days and times are somewhat flexible Potential for additional hours in the future
About Judy:
Judy is an 89-year-old woman who uses a walker and is able to manage her own personal care and bathroom needs independently. This is a companionship-only position —no hands-on personal care is required. She enjoys conversation, the art's & architecture, and getting out into the community.
Activities may include:
Visiting the library Going to museums Shopping Visiting friends Taking scenic drives Going out for lunch Other enjoyable outings The companion would pick Judy up at her home and transport her using Judy's vehicle . Judy follows a vegan lifestyle, so an appreciation for or respect of vegan dining preferences is important. She has experienced some depression and boredom related to aging and would benefit from a compassionate person who can help bring enjoyment, social interaction, and engagement back into her week.
Ideal Candidate:
Mature, reliable, and patient Good sense of humor Friendly and conversational Comfortable assisting an older adult while walking with a walker Valid driver's license and clean driving record If you enjoy helping seniors stay active, engaged, and connected to the world around them, we would love to hear from you.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
