In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing timely and friendly transportation services for guests and staff, ensuring a smooth start to their day. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a welcoming environment, whether delivering breakfast items or shuttling guests across campus. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to a positive experience for everyone you serve. Duties Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including buses, limousines, or paratransit vans, to transport guests and staff between designated locations. Deliver breakfast supplies and meals promptly to various departments or external locations as needed. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Load and unload heavy items such as catering supplies or luggage, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle mileage for record-keeping purposes. Communicate effectively with team members and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns professionally. Experience Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, or bus driving preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or chauffeur's license is a plus. Familiarity with driver standards, limousine services, or heavy-duty vehicle operation is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with passengers and team members. Experience in customer service roles that require professionalism and positive engagement. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling supplies or luggage safely. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures to ensure safety and reliability during operations.
