Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading merchandise onto the delivery truck
- Help navigate and plan the most efficient delivery routes
- Safely operate equipment such as hand trucks and shoulder dollies to move merchandise
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner before and during deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Go to customers house's to repair appliances as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a delivery helper or assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of major appliances
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Experience using equipment such as appliance dollies
- Ability to assist with moving heavy items and loading/unloading merchandise This position requires physical stamina as it involves lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
