Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and dependable Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a pick-up truck to pick up and deliver goods and trailers efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in towing and backing small trailers will ensure smooth daily operations, safety, and satisfaction for all clients and team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills. Duties Safely operate light/medium duty pick up truck with and without a trailer to delivery goods in a timely and safe manner Assist with loading and unloading items that require heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols Deliver packages or supplies promptly along designated routes with attention to detail and accuracy Provide excellent customer service by greeting vendors and customers warmly, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety Communicate effectively with dispatchers or clients regarding schedules or order pick up changes Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition reports Driving for periods of 6-8 hours per day beginning at 5am across multiple stops for pick ups and drop offs. Qualifications Valid Non-Commercial Driver's License (NCDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, or in similar roles such as limousine or paratransit driving Strong communication skills to interact confidently with dispatch and team members Ability to perform light maintenance tasks and identify vehicle issues promptly Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of driving or standing Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices in commercial driving Prior experience with school bus driving or heavy vehicle operation is a plus but not required DOT Medical Card Join us if you're passionate about driving safely while delivering outstanding service!
