Your energetic and customer-focused approach will ensure passengers arrive comfortably and on time, fostering trust and positive experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving expertise with excellent customer service, making a meaningful difference in our community. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle vehicles, or other commercial transportation vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, pharmacies, or other destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges or special needs. Conduct pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations. Communicate clearly with passengers to provide information about routes, schedules, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and passenger details for reporting purposes. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers or loading mobility devices such as wheelchairs or walkers. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a secure environment for all onboard. Experience Previous shuttle driving or delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with paratransit or school bus driving is a plus. Proven background in commercial driving, including bus driving or limousine services. Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with diverse passenger groups and team members. Experience with vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting passengers or handling equipment. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; a driver license is highly desirable.
