Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including delivery driving, shuttle driving, and paratransit services. -Must be 26yrs or older-Must have a clean driving Record and be able to pass a drug test-Must pass a Background check-Must be good with Navigation and map usage and travel long distance-Must know how to use a Smartphone Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles to transport passengers or goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit. Handle heavy lifting as required for deliveries or assisting passengers with luggage or mobility aids. Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role. Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Experience with paratransit services or shuttle driving is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers, clients, and team members. Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for deliveries or assisting passengers. Familiarity with bus driving or limousine services is a plus. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
