Job Description

Job Summary At NextGen Recovery Services, we are among Minnesota's largest, fastest-growing, and most respected asset recovery companies. Our operations combine advanced technology, disciplined field execution, and strong team support to deliver industry-leading results for our clients. We are currently hiring Spotter Drivers / Field Investigators to support our recovery agents by locating vehicles in the field and feeding high-quality information back to our operations team. About the Role As a Spotter Driver, you will operate a company-issued vehicle within assigned zones, driving structured routes to identify vehicles subject to repossession. You will not physically repossess vehicles — your role is intelligence, accuracy, and communication. Our vehicles are equipped with automated license plate recognition (LPR) technology , allowing you to scan plates efficiently as you drive. When a vehicle is located, you'll relay real-time information to our recovery agents, who handle the actual recovery process. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying focused for long periods, and being rewarded for performance. The best spotters are paid the most, as it should be. Training & Support All new Spotter Drivers receive hands-on training , including: System and technology training Route strategy and zone management Real-world field exposure alongside experienced team members Clear expectations on communication, documentation, and performance standards You won't be micromanaged — but you will never be unsupported. Who We're Looking For We're looking for people who take pride in doing things the right way and understand that consistency and attention to detail drive results.
You should be:
Self-motivated and dependable Comfortable working independently for most of the day Observant, detail-oriented, and naturally curious Confident communicating information clearly and accurately Professional when interacting with the public and internal teams Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must meet insurance requirements (minimum age requirement applies) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, or basic computer systems Prior experience in repossession, investigations, delivery driving, or field-based work is helpful but not required — we train the right people. $2,750.00 - $3,300.00 per month
