Job Description

The Arc Columbia-Saratoga is currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Day Services Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our WOW Program ! In this role, you'll support a wonderful group of kind and caring adults with developmental disabilities. A key part of this role is helping those we support engage with their community - taking them on outings and activities using an agency vehicle and making each day meaningful and enjoyable.
What You'll Do:
Accompany and support people on community outings Help promote independence, socialization and personal growth Ensure a safe, positive and engaging environment Build strong, supportive relationships
What We're Looking For:
A caring and dependable person who enjoys helping others Valid driver's license with ability to drive agency vehicles High school diploma or equivalent Availability to work full-time hours: 35-hours a week Monday-Friday Starting rate of pay is set at $19 an hour A positive attitude and willingness to learn No Experience? No Problem! If you are new to the field, we have you covered - we provide paid training to set you up for success. Experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply!
