Responsibilities Safely operate coach buses on scheduled routes, ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle's mechanical systems, brakes, lights, and safety equipment Communicate clearly with passengers using effective English and multilingual skills when needed, providing route information and assistance Manage behavior and ensure a positive environment for children, seniors, or individuals with special needs by applying behavior management techniques Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those requiring childcare or senior care accommodations Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and safety checks in compliance with company policies Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies by coordinating with local authorities and following established safety protocols Experience Proven experience in bus driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with school bus driving or paratransit services Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; appropriate endorsements for passenger transport are highly desirable Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Experience working with children or providing childcare is advantageous; familiarity with behavior management techniques is preferred Knowledge of safety regulations related to driving large vehicles and passenger transportation Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference every day!
