Job Description

Crossroads Health , a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Cleveland, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery services—no matter one's ability to pay. We have an immediate need for a Child Youth Specialist in our Day Treatment Program. This position provides "hands-on" client monitoring, supervision, therapeutic activities and behavioral interventions in the Day Treatment Program. The Child/Youth Specialist will provide on-site client supervision on community outings and during van transportation; facilitates/co-facilitates groups and other therapeutic activities; and provides crisis support as needed. This highly visible position will have an opportunity to provide a positive environment for kids who are in need of understanding, patience and a can-do attitude. •Position receives 4 extra weeks of PTO following the normal school year plus end of school year bonus
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field involving child and youth population with mental health needs
Experience :
One (1) to two (2) years internship experience (preferred) Group facilitation experience (preferred)
Licensure/Certifications :
QMHS•qualified mental health specialist (employer provided) AMD•Aggressive Management De-escalation/Physical Hold Training within first 6 months of employment For positions that may transport clients: Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points of less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000 BLS/CPR/First Aid (as applicable, company provided)

8:00 am•4:00 pm
Monday-Friday Travel:
Transport and monitoring of clients in large 12 passenger vehicle. Comfortable making home visits throughout the community and transport clients in agency vans The anticipated hiring range for this position is $20.00•$20.50 per hour.
