DAY HAB FACILITATOR/DSP NEEDED FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING OF OHIO!

Job Duties:
Working in the morning at the individual's homes to assist them with getting ready for Day Hab (breakfast, using the rest room, cleaning the home, packing lunch and extra clothes depends for Day Hab, starting laundry, etc.) Then, Work with the consumers in a day hab setting. Assist consumers on field trips, meal prep, feeding, toileting, arts and crafts etc. This position would be performing bus aid duties also. The hours would reflect the duties of the bus aid. You would have one day off through the week for the first 90 days and work in the homes every other weekend. You would then go into a back up to the on call rotation. Our Day Hab does outings and other fun activities on Wednesdays and Fridays, so all Day Hab staff will need to be present during those days. Again, The Day Hab worker/DSP would also be scheduled every other weekend for the first 90 days and then go into the back up rotation. This can be a very rewarding position and can be a lot of fun. There will be field trips to different parts of the county and some out of county. You must be able to pass a drug screen and physical as transportation for the individuals is a requirement. You must be okay with driving our vehicles; buses, vans, etc.
Requirements:
Valid Ohio driver's license, social security card, good working car, current car insurance, be able to pass a criminal background check, high school diploma, and be able to work well with the developmentally disabled population as well as being able to pass a drug screen and physical.
