This role is a great fit for candidates with rideshare or delivery driving experience and is a strong way to get your foot in the door within the autonomous vehicle industry. Role Overview We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Safety Drivers in Dallas, TX to support testing and development of self-driving vehicle technology in partnership with Uber. Responsibilities
- Safely operate autonomous vehicles during testing
- Monitor vehicle performance and take control when needed
- Conduct vehicle inspections
- Collect data and document observations
- Follow safety protocols and traffic laws
- Communicate feedback to engineering and operations teams Requirements
- Valid U.S. Driver's License with 4+ years driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR required)
- Tech-savvy with basic computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfortable driving for long periods 4+ years in structured, high-frequency, urban/route-based driving roles (delivery, field service, etc.) 6+ years of consistent rideshare/app-based driving as a primary source of income Driving Record Must Meet
- No DUIs
- No at-fault accidents
- No license suspensions or revocations
- No more than one (1) point on driving record
- Must be in good standing with Uber (Driver and/or Rider)
