Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Drivers Helper to assist our delivery team in ensuring timely and efficient transport of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles and possess strong communication skills. This position involves working closely with drivers to load, unload, and deliver products while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Assist the driver in loading and unloading cargo from the vehicle. Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. Help secure loads to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Communicate effectively with the driver and warehouse staff to coordinate logistics. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed for loading and unloading. Support the driver in navigating routes efficiently, including shuttle driving or route driving as required. Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver, commercial driver, or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with various types of vehicles including box trucks, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers is a plus. Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Experience in warehouse operations or freight handling is beneficial. Must be able to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications for operating specific vehicles (e.g., forklift) are desirable.
