Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and a skilled Driver to join our team. Looking for a driver to help with visiting a disabled sister living in a nursing home in the Chicago suburbs. Also, need occassional rides to do local errands with prior notice when needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service while ensuring timely transportation of passengers or goods. This role requires excellent driving skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Whether you have experience in vehicle driving, van driving, or delivery services, we welcome your application. Duties Safely operate car or suv's when traveling. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with their needs during transport. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle by conducting regular inspections and performing minor mechanical maintenance as needed. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Communicate effectively with the passenger regarding schedules and any potential delays. Assist with loading and unloading of goods or luggage when necessary. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in delivery driving, shuttle driving, or similar roles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if required. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roadways. Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members.
